This website has been written to the strict formulation of XHMTL 1.0 Standard. All pages are validated to this standard using the W3C validator, before being published. Non-standard tags are not used in any part of this website; in particular, the <embed> tag is avoided by use of the SWFObject 2 script. The website is currently served as text/html.
CSS
This website makes full use of the CSS 2.1 standard, supplemented by a number of CSS 3 selectors and properties, which have matured into dependable de facto standards, namely the ˜ general sibling combinator selector, the :nth-child() pseudo-selector and the border-radius, text-shadow and opacity properties. Corrections for Internet Explorer from versions 5.0 to 8.0 are provided in seperate css stylesheets, hidden within conditional comment blocks from other browsers.
