A competition was held in the run up to Vocation Expo 2010. Participants were asked to interview a person working in the Catholic Church and create the most interesting biography in the medium of their choice or to design an A3 poster to portray religious life. All entries received were reviewed by a panel of religious who selected an engaging and informative shortlist of entries. This shortlist was displayed in the Vocation Expo and attendants were given the opportunity of voting for the best entries.

Ruri Clark
Ruri Clark, of St. Mary’s, Southampton, came first in the Poster Competition, winning an iPod. His entry was titled Father Michael.

Amy Stamp
Amy Stamp, of St. Richard’s RC College, Bexhill on Sea, was placed second, winning a voucher from Argos. Her entry was titled My interview with Eugene Adams, Deacon, Christ the King, Eastbourne.

Mark Solomon and Eddie Bailey
Mark Solomon and Eddie Bailey, of St. Mary’s, Southampton, were placed third, winning a voucher from HMV. Their entry was titled Brother James.
